Dear Rick and Bonnie,
Thank you so much for your first-rate demonstration at the Purina Horse Owners Workshop held at Shiloh Ranch Arena, in Black Forest, CO, sponsored by Rockin' B Feed & Supply on Tuesday April 4th!
I board my horse at Shiloh Ranch. Our barn manager, Robert Cockrell, mentioned to me that you might be interested in giving one or more clinics at Shiloh, in the future. I am sending this e-mail to you to let you know that I would be very interested in taking part in your clinic(s), if you decide to come back to Shiloh Ranch Arena.
I'll try to make a long story short; I have a Morgan mare named "Jenna", whose previous owner had her trained in carriage driving from ages 1 to 3. That owner decided to quit driving carriage sometime around the horse's age 5 and took the horse back to the original trainer for saddle training as a Western Pleasure/Trail horse. The problem is that the previous owner did not completely finish her saddle training, and then rode her only on-and-off, without dealing with some bad habits as they were developing. I bought this Morgan pleasure horse for me. She will be 7 years old this month, which I realize is late in the game, but she has a great personality, is smart and loves to learn. I am eager to get her the training she deserves, and to have her retrained out of those bad habits that were allowed to go un addressed.
I'd like to know whether you will be coming back to Shiloh Ranch Arena, hopefully this Spring or Summer. Thanks!
Sincerely,
-Pam Field
Dear Rick & Bonnie,
I am a stay at home mom. I was very excited and looked so forward to the clinic you just had in Black Forest. I love to learn and the more the better. It ws truly a blessing to have come across you two. I was stumped with my horse. I am having troubles with my horse and figured it was me who was having the trouble, I could not reach my mare and let her understand. I have been listening to many different people tell me how to handle this situation, and nothing has worked for me. You are my hero, and many thanks to you! I look forward to seeing you again in the future!
Regards,
-Karen
Rick and Bonnie
Thanks so much for getting our girl off to a good start. We really appreciate all your hard work!
Best Wishes!

Rick and Bonnie,
I owe you a huge thank you: I now own horses I can ride. THANK YOU, Thank You!!! My sister, brother-in-law, Whitney, my niece and I all went for a horse back ride on my horses. My niece rode the mare you had this summer--both horse and rider did beautifully!! You trained 3 of the 5 horses. You and Bonnie have truly blessed our lives, in more ways that you know-in more ways than horses. Whitney knows so much about horses and I feel she is a safe rider--thank you for that too.
Sincerely,
Julie
